COLOSPECT
DELICIOUS ORANGE FLAVOUR Kit is a bowel cleanser that is used to
cleanse the bowel prior to colonoscopy, colorectal surgery and barium
meal X-ray examination.

It contains electrolytes like sodium
sulphate, potassium sulphate and magnesium sulphate as active
ingredients where they soften the stools by drawing in more water from
the intestines which helps in passing stools.

COLOSPECT DELICIOUS
ORANGE FLAVOUR Kit should be used only under medical supervision.
Dilute the medicine in sufficient quantity of water as instructed by
your doctor. You may have to drink additional water, according to your
doctor’s instructions. Direct ingestion of the undiluted medicine may
cause nausea, vomiting, and dehydration.

Before taking COLOSPECT
DELICIOUS ORANGE FLAVOUR Kit, inform your doctor if you have any stomach
problems (like gastrointestinal obstruction, perforations in the gut,
inflammatory bowel diseases, toxic megacolon), electrolyte imbalances,
cardiac arrythmias, seizures, or kidney problems as a precaution.

You
must also inform your doctor if you have trouble in swallowing oral
medication or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding as a precaution.

The
most common side effects of taking COLOSPECT DELICIOUS ORANGE FLAVOUR
Kit are headache, abdominal distention, stomach pain, nausea and
vomiting. Consult your doctor if any of these side effects affects you.

While
taking COLOSPECT DELICIOUS ORANGE FLAVOUR Kit, avoid taking laxatives
as it may increase the risk of diarrhea. COLOSPECT DELICIOUS ORANGE
FLAVOUR Kit may restrict the absorption of other oral medication when
taken within one hour of starting each dose. Therefore, patients should
also consult their doctor regarding the usage of other oral medicines.
