Ammonium phos (Amm Phos) is prepared by trituration of the pure ammonium phosphate. It is a remedy for chronic gouty patients with uric acid diathesis. Works especially in patients who feel cold from least draft of air. It is not to be used for acute symptoms, but when the disease has become systemic and when concretions of urate of soda appear in the joints.
