How ZYLORIC 100MG TABLET Works
ZYLORIC
100MG TABLET works by stopping the enzyme (xanthine oxidase) which is
responsible for production of uric acid. Thus lowering the levels of
uric acid in blood and urine and decreases the incidence of gout
symptoms.
How to use ZYLORIC 100MG TABLET
Take
ZYLORIC 100MG TABLET as advised by your physician. Swallow the
medicines with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine. Your
doctor will decide the correct dose and duration for you depending upon
your age, body weight and disease condition.
Side Effects Of ZYLORIC 100MG TABLET
Common
- skin rash
- increased thyroid-stimulating hormone levels in the blood
Uncommon
- nausea, vomiting
- diarrhoea
- abdominal pain
Rare
- liver problems (liver inflammation, jaundice)
Stop taking ZYLORIC 100MG TABLET and contact your doctor immediately if you experience any of the following side effects:
- allergic
reaction symptoms such as flaking skin, boils or sore lips and mouth,
sudden wheeziness, fluttering or tightness in the chest and collapse - serious
hypersensitivity reactions characterized by fever, joint pain,
abnormalities in blood, bleeding in the lips, mouth, eyes, nose or
genitals, ulcers of the mouth, throat, nose, genitals, conjunctivitis
(red and swollen eyes), widespread blisters or peeling
How To Manage Side Effects
Diarrhea
Drink
lots of fluids, such as water or fruit juices to keep you hydrated. Do
not take any medicine on your own for managing diarrhea. Contact your
doctor if the symptom did not improve.
Nausea And Vomiting
Try
to take this medicine with or just after a meal or a snack. Stick to
simple meals. Avoid eating rich or spicy food. If the symptom does not
improve, contact your doctor.
Skin rash Or Itching
Avoid
hot showers because hot water can irritate the skin. Do not scratch the
affected area. Use sunscreen and protective clothing when outdoors.
Regularly use moisturizer to soothe and hydrate the affected area. If
the symptom does not improve, contact your doctor.
Stomach Pain
Rest
and relax. Eat and drink slowly or try to have smaller meals. Keep a
heat pad on your stomach. Do not self-manage and contact your doctor if
the symptom did not improve.

not drive or operate any machines if you feel drowsy, giddy or have
problems with co-ordination after taking ZYLORIC 100MG TABLET.
