SAFETY ADVICE
- Always use Betadine Ointment as directed by the physician

- Do not heat it before application
- Do not use it on extensive burn areas and to large areas of the skin unless strictly indicated
- Do not use Betadine Ointment if you are allergic to any of its components
- It is not recommended for use in pregnant women, breastfeeding women, and children (below 2 years of age)
- Do not use if you have a kidney or thyroid problem, or during lithium or mercury derivatives therapy
- Inform your doctor on all the medicines you use, including prescription and over-the-counter medications, as well as herbal supplements
