What GEMCAL PLUS is used for?

GEMCAL PLUS contains the below mentioned components, which have the following uses:

Calcium Carbonate:

Calcium is essential for normal functioning of nerves, cells, muscle and bone. Calcium prevents bone loss and is associated with a modest reduction in fracture risk. Calcium and vitamin D preparations are used to prevent or to manage calcium deficiency

Calcitriol (Vitamin D3):

Calcitriol is the active from of vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol). Vitamin D is important for the absorption of calcium from the stomach and for the functioning of calcium in the body. Helps in optimal calcium absorption. Suppress bones resorption. Prevents bone loss in osteoporosis

Vitamin K2-7:

Vitamin K2-7 helps increase in the bone building process & decreases in the bone loss process

Methyl folate:

It is required to regulate the growth of cells including red blood cells and protein synthesis

Mecobalamin (Vitamin B12):
