Glycort Eye/Ear Drops is a medicine used to treat bacterial infections of the eyes and ear. It kills and prevents the growth of infection-causing bacteria. This way it relieves the symptoms and speeds up the healing process.

Glycort Eye/Ear Drops is to be used only in the affected eye or ear. Read the label carefully for instruction before you use the medicine. How Glycort Eye/Ear Drops works

Glycort Eye/Ear Drops is a combination of two medicines: Gentamicin and Dexamethasone. Gentamicin is an antibiotic. It stops bacterial growth in the eye/ear by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. Dexamethasone is a steroid which blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the eye/ear red, swollen and itchy.
