Jolavi Tablet is used to treat low blood pressure (hypotension). It is used in patients who experience dizziness due to low blood pressure while standing up suddenly from a sitting or lying position. This medicine causes tightening of blood vessels and results in an elevation of your blood pressure.

Jolavi Tablet can be taken with or without food. This medicine is taken during daytime hours when people stand most often. However, it should not be taken if you are going to lie down for a long time after a dose. Headache, blurred vision, nausea, heartburn and difficulty in urination may be seen as side effects in some patients.

How to use Jolavi Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Jolavi Tablet may be taken with or without food.

Jolavi Tablet is an alpha-adrenergic agonist. It works by activating specific receptors on blood vessels. This causes the blood vessels to tighten, which increases blood pressure.
