INTRODUCTION ABOUT LATOPROST RT EYE DROPS

LATOPROST RT EYE DROPS contains Latanoprost which belongs to the group of medicines called Prostaglandin analogs. It is used to manage open angle glaucoma and ocular hypertension (both linked to increased pressure in the eye). Glaucoma is a group of diseases characterized by gradual damage to the optic nerve (nerves that carry visual messages), that may result in loss of vision. Prior to the management, your doctor may want you to take certain eye tests to understand your existing condition.

Before using LATOPROST RT EYE DROPS, inform your doctor if you or your child have eye problems (pain, irritation or inflammation of eyes, blurred vision or dry eyes) or viral infection of the eye. Also inform your doctor if you have severe asthma, are using contact lens or going to have an eye surgery (cataract surgery).
