USES OF LORFAST MELTAB TABLET
It is used to relieve from symptoms associated with:
- Allergic rhinitis (Ex. hay fever) including sneezing, runny or itchy nose and burning or itchy eyes
- Urticaria (hives or nettle rash)
HOW LORFAST MELTAB TABLET WORKS
LORFAST
MELTAB TABLET reduces the allergic reaction by blocking the effects of
histamine (a chemical substance produced by the body in response to some
allergens like dust or pollen).
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Take
LORFAST MELTAB TABLET as advised by your physician. Swallow this
medicine, do not crush or chew the medicine. Correct dosage and duration
will be decided by your doctor depending upon your age, body weight and
disease condition.

HOW TO MANAGE SIDE EFFECTS
Drowsiness:
When
you feel drowsy, lie or sit down immediately. if you are experiencing a
severe episode of vertigo, lie in a dark and quite place with eyes
closed. Vehicle driving should be avoided if you experience frequent
drowsiness without warning. Talk to your doctor if the symptom worsens.
Headache:
Apply
hot or cold-water bag on your head. Try to take rest in a quiet and
dark environment. Drink tea or coffee. Massage with mild pressure on
scalp or head. Consult your doctor for advice.
Dry mouth:
Dry
mouth can be managed by chewing sugar-free gum or sucking on sugar-free
hard candies to stimulate the flow of saliva. Sip water at regular
intervals of time. Do not use mouthwashes that contain alcohol because
they can be drying.
