Introduction About MECONEURON OD 1500MCG TABLET

MecoNeuron OD Tablet is a vitamin supplement which is used to manage or manage vitamin B12 deficiency in patients with neuropathy (nerve damage) due to diabetes or other causes. It contains methylcobalamin as an active ingredient which helps regulate vital body functions like cell multiplication, blood formation and protein synthesis.

Methylcobalamin works by taking part in the production of myelin (a compound which covers and protects nerve fibres). It also helps to revive the damaged neuron. It participates in the inhibitory pain pathways, thus helping in relieving nerve pain.

Always take MecoNeuron OD Tablet as advised by the physician. It is not recommended in patients having optic atrophy (a genetic eye condition), ongoing infection, low iron levels, blood in urine, and polycythaemia (a bone disease). Consult your doctor before taking MecoNeuron OD Tablet during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
