Introduction About MUMFER XT TABLET
MUMFER XT TABLET is a combination of Ferrous ascorbate, Folic acid and Zinc sulphate which belongs to the group of medicines called Haematinics. It is used for the management of anaemia caused by iron deficiency. Iron deficiency anaemia is when your body can’t produce enough haemoglobin (a substance in red blood cells that enables them to carry oxygen), due to insufficient iron.
MUMFER XT TABLET is not recommended for use in patients with unmanageed cobalamin deficiency, Addisonian pernicious anaemia or malignant disease (except megaloblastic anaemia). Before taking MUMFER XT TABLET, inform your doctor if you have hemochromatosis, hemoglobinopathies, any gastrointestinal diseases or anaemias other than those due to iron deficiency or if you are receiving repeated blood transfusions.
