What PROTAR K SCALP is used for?

It is used to manage and prevent dandruff and dry or greasy scaling of the scalp (seborrhoeic dermatitis), which is a more severe kind of dandruff
It also manages the inflammation associated with dandruff, relieving scalp redness and itching
Talk to your doctor before using this medicine, if you:
- are allergic to coal tar and ketoconazole or any of the other ingredients of this medicine
- suffer from inflammation of the hair follicles (folliculitis) or acne
- are photosensitive
- suffer from a condition called lupus erythematosus
- have inflamed or broken skin (you have open wounds, or your skin is infected)
- Tell your doctor if you are using a steroid product (e.g. betamethasone or hydrocortisone) on your scalp
