INTRODUCTION

RIDAZIN
25MG contains Thioridazine which belongs to the group of medicines
called Antipsychotics. It is used to manage schizophrenia in patients
who fail to respond adequately to management with other antipsychotic
drugs. Schizophrenia is a chronic and severe mental disorder that
affects the way a person thinks, acts, expresses emotions, perceives
reality, and relates to others. It is characterized by symptoms such as
delusions (beliefs that are away from reality), hallucinations, and
disorganized thoughts perceived from disorganized speech.

RIDAZIN
25MG is not recommended for use in patients with cardiac disorders
(such as cardiac failure, angina), comatose or severe drug-induced
depressed states (such as drowsiness, slow breathing), uncorrected
hypokalaemia (low potassium level in blood), severe photosensitivity,
and serious haematological conditions (such as bone marrow suppression).
RIDAZIN 25MG should be used with caution in patients with a history of
breast cancer and in patients with epilepsy (fits). RIDAZIN 25MG should
be used with caution in pregnant and breastfeeding women only if clearly
