Introduction About ZIFI CV DT 100MG TABLET

ZIFI CV DT 100MG TABLET is a combination of Cefixime and Clavulanic acid, which belongs to the group of medicines called Antibiotics. It is used to manage bacterial infections of the ear, nose, throat, sinus, respiratory tract (bronchus, lungs), biliary tract, urinary tract, and genital tract in children (aged between 6 months to 12 years). It can also be used in the management of typhoid fever.

A bacterial infection can be defined as a proliferation of various harmful strains of bacteria within the body. They can affect any part(s) of the body, including the respiratory tract, urinary tract, reproductive tract, eyes, ears, skin, soft tissue, or bones.

Therapy with ZIFI CV DT 100MG TABLET should be continued for the stipulated duration instructed by your doctor, even if your child feels better during the midway of the therapy. Failing to complete the full course of the therapy or skipping doses in between the therapy may not result in adequate infection control.

Prior to the therapy, inform your doctor about the child’s pre-existing disease conditions, such as any stomach problems or kidney problems, as a precaution. The most common side effects of taking ZIFI CV DT 100MG TABLET are nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach pain, and bloating. Consult your doctor immediately if any of these side effects worsen in your child.

How ZIFI CV DT 100MG TABLET Works

ZIFI CV DT 100MG TABLET is a powerful antibiotic. It contains two medicines, namely, cefixime and clavulanic acid. Cefixime kills the susceptible bacteria by blocking the bacterial cell wall synthesis.

Clavulanic acid stops the bacteria from producing toxic proteins (such as beta lactamases) that can reduce the effects of antibiotics. Collectively, these actions destroy the susceptible bacteria and manage their further growth and multiplication, which in turn reduces the severity of the infection.

How to use ZIFI CV DT 100MG TABLET
