INTRODUCTION ABOUT ADDTREX 50 TABLET

ADDTREX 50 TABLET contains Naltrexone, which belongs to the group of medicines called Opiate antagonists. ADDTREX 50 TABLET is used as a part of a management program to help affected individuals avoid taking opiates (substances that provide relief from pain) and manage them from developing opioid dependence and addiction.

ADDTREX 50 TABLET is not recommended for use in patients allergic to Naltrexone hydrochloride. It is also not recommended for use in patients who have opioid addiction (without successful withdrawal) and/or experience acute symptoms of opioid withdrawal (such as paranoia, confusion, tremors, and disorientation). The medicine is also not recommended for use in patients suffering from severe liver or kidney problems and/or acute hepatitis (inflammation of the liver).
