HOW AMFY GEL(TOPICAL) WORKS
AMFY
GEL(TOPICAL) binds to ergosterol (steroid present on the cell membranes
of fungi) which leads to the formation of pores and ion leakage on the
cell membrane resulting in fungal cell death thus managing invasive
fungal infections in affected individuals.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Always
apply AMFY GEL(TOPICAL) as directed by your physician. Clean and dry
the affected area before application of AMFY GEL(TOPICAL). It is for
external use only. A thin layer of medicine has to be applied on the
affected area. Managed areas need not be covered with a plaster/bandage.
Wash hands before and after the application AMFY GEL(TOPICAL). Avoid
applying this medicine around your eyes, including eyelids, nose, and
mouth.

PREGNANCY

ALLERGY
Do not apply AMFY GEL(TOPICAL) if you are allergic to Amphotericin B, and/or any other ingredients of this medicine.
OTHERS
Use in Pediatrics:
AMFY GEL(TOPICAL) is safe to use in children and adolescents (below 18 years). Consult your doctor before applying the medicine.
Use in Geriatrics:
AMFY
GEL(TOPICAL) should be used with caution in elderly patients (aged
above 65 years). Consult your doctor before applying the medicine.
INTERACTIONS

Overdosage:
If
you or anyone else applied too much of AMFY GEL(TOPICAL) or
accidentally swallowed the medicine, consult your doctor immediately or
visit the nearby hospital to manage the overdose symptoms.
