Introduction About ASCABIOL EMULSION

ASCABIOL EMULSION contains Cetrimide and Gamma benzene hexachloride, which belong to the group of medicines called Antiseptics and Antiparasitic drugs, respectively. It is used for the management of scabies (skin infection with itchy skin rashes caused by mites), pediculosis (infestation of scalp caused by eggs, larvae, or adults of lice), and lice.

It is advised to avoid person-to-person contact and sharing of clothes and utensils with infected persons to avoid the risk of spreading of scabies and lice. It is not recommended to use ASCABIOL EMULSION if you have fits, allergies to any of its ingredients, open, broken, or cranky skin. Before using ASCABIOL EMULSION, inform your doctor if you have HIV or AIDS, have a history of fits or conditions like a head injury, tumour in your brain or spinal cord, cirrhosis of the liver, or are heavy alcohol drinkers.

ASCABIOL EMULSION is not recommended to be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding unless it is clearly necessary. Do not use ASCABIOL EMULSION to manage a premature infant, young baby, or elderly patient.
