Introduction About ASTHALIN ROTACAP
ASTHALIN ROTACAP contains Salbutamol which belongs to the group of medicines called Bronchodilators. It is used to provide a quick relief from the symptoms of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) in adults and in children (aged 4 years or older). It can also be used to manage the signs of asthma caused due to exercise or due to any allergen exposure.
Asthma is a long-term respiratory disease in which your airways become inflamed, swollen and narrowed. It also causes excessive mucous secretion in the airways which makes it difficult for the air to pass through, leading to unpleasant symptoms like wheezing, difficulty in breathing, chest pain and/or cough.
COPD is a lung disease characterized by chronic lung inflammation and obstructed air flow within the airways. It causes wheezing, breathing difficulties, cough with mucus production and chest pain.
Before using ASTHALIN ROTACAP inform your doctor if you have diabetes, overactive thyroid functions, low blood potassium levels or any heart problems (such as angina or irregular heartbeat) as a precaution. ASTHALIN ROTACAP should be used in pregnant or breastfeeding women only if it is considered necessary by the physician.
The most common side effects of using ASTHALIN ROTACAP are tremors, fast heart rate, muscle cramps and increased blood flow to extremities. Contact your doctor if any of these side effect worsens.

How ASTHALIN ROTACAP Works
ASTHALIN ROTACAP is a bronchodilator. It relaxes the smooth muscles of the airways and widens them. It also blocks the release of certain chemical messengers in the airways (such as mast cells) that cause inflammation and swelling. As a result, it reduces airway inflammation, manages the airways from becoming narrow and allows the air to pass through more freely which makes breathing easier.
