Betadine
Gargle Solution is a disinfectant and antiseptic agent that is used
provide a temporary relief from occasional sore throat. It contains
povidone-iodine as an active ingredient which kills the causative
bacteria.
Povidone-iodine exhibits temporary relief from sore
throat by killing the responsible germs. It penetrates into the bacteria
and interfere with their important life functions leading to their
death.
Use Betadine Gargle Solution according to the directions
given by the doctor. It is for external use only. Do not swallow the
solution. It is recommended to put the required dose in the dosage cup
and perform gargle with 10ml of the solution for 30 seconds. Do not use
this solution if you have thyroid problems.
