What BOOSTRIX INJECTION is used for?

It is used to immunise against diphtheria, tetanus and pertussis (whooping cough)

Talk to your doctor, if your child:

are allergic to any other ingredients of this medicine
have or had any illness affecting the nervous system within 7 days after previous vaccination with a vaccine against pertussis (whooping cough) disease
have severe infection with a high temperature
have any medical conditions like infantile spasms, uncontrolled epilepsy or progressive encephalopathy (disease of brain)
have breathing difficulty
have immune deficiency condition
have bleeding problem
