This medicine is to be taken in the dosage as advised by the doctor. Consult your doctor if you plan to take any other form of vitamin D along with this medicine.

In renal osteodystrophy and secondary hyperparathyroidism due to chronic kidney disease, it improves calcium absorption, corrects hypocalcaemia, and lowers elevated parathyroid hormone levels, helping reduce bone pain and skeletal changes. In hypoparathyroidism and rickets, it restores calcium and phosphate levels, supporting normal bone development and strength. How Caltive Capsule works
Calcitriol is the active form of vitamin D that binds to vitamin D receptors in the intestine, bone, and kidneys to regulate calcium and phosphate homeostasis. Liver

Caltive Capsule is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data suggest dose adjustment may not be needed.
What if you forget to take Caltive Capsule?
If you miss a dose of Caltive Capsule, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
