CIPLOX EYE/EAR
DROPS is used to manage bacterial infection of the eye or the ear in
conditions in adults and children above 1 year. It contains an
antibiotic called ciprofloxacin which kills bacteria by stopping their
DNA from multiplying and repairing. This helps clear up bacterial
eye/ear infections.

CIPLOX EYE/EAR DROPS on prolonged use can
cause an overgrowth of other non-susceptible organisms. Hence, it should
be used only for the prescribed time as per your doctor. CIPLOX EYE/EAR
DROPS should be used with caution during pregnancy and breastfeeding
only if the potential benefit justifies the potential risk to the baby.

CIPLOX
EYE/EAR DROPS is not recommended for use by children below 12 months (1
year) of age, including newborns without a doctor’s advice. The most
common side effects of using CIPLOX EYE/EAR DROPS are redness, itching,
irritation, pain, red eye, and double vision. Consult a doctor
immediately if any of the symptoms worsen.

How to use CIPLOX EYE/EAR DROPS

Always
apply CIPLOX EYE/EAR DROPS as directed by your physician. It is for

area. Gently instil a few drops of the medicine into the affected eyes
or ears. Do not wear contact lenses while using this medicine in the
eye. Your doctor will prescribe the correct dose and duration according

  • medicines used to manage pain and inflammation, asthma or skin problems such as corticosteroids (Ex. cortisone, prednisone, prednisolone, methylprednisolone, dexamethasone, betamethasone, hydrocortisone)

DROPS into the eyes, immediately rinse your eyes with warm water.
