Introduction About COMBINIB 250MG TABLET
COMBINIB 250MG TABLET contains Lapatinib which belongs to the group of medicines called Anticancer agents. It is used to manage metastatic breast cancer (cancer that has been spread to other parts of the body from breast). It is mostly used in combination with other anticancer or hormonal medicines (such as capecitabine, trastuzumab or anastrozole) to achieve better results.
COMBINIB 250MG TABLET can be taken either one hour before or one hour after food. During management with COMBINIB 250MG TABLET, your doctor will periodically monitor your heart, liver, kidney and lung functions as a precaution.
Before taking COMBINIB 250MG TABLET, inform your doctor if you have any lung, liver, kidney or heart problems. You must also inform your doctor if you have diarrhea before taking this medicine.
Do not take COMBINIB 250MG TABLET without consulting your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. The most common side effects of taking COMBINIB 250MG TABLET are nausea, vomiting, weakness, indigestion, constipation, sore mouth, trouble sleeping, back pain, joint pain, headache, hot flushes, hair loss, nail disorder and abnormal heartbeat. COMBINIB 250MG TABLET is an anticancer agent. It works by blocking the actions of certain cellular proteins (tyrosine kinase) that triggers cancer cell formation. It also blocks various downstream cell signalling pathways that triggers cancer growth within the body. As a result, it reduces cancer formation and manages its further growth within the body.
How to use COMBINIB 250MG TABLET
Take COMBINIB 250MG TABLET as advised by your physician. Swallow the medicine with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine. COMBINIB 250MG TABLET can be taken either one hour before or one hour after food.
Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration of therapy for you depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition. Continue to take COMBINIB 250MG TABLET for the stipulated duration instructed by your doctor to achieve better results.

Try to rest and relax. Get enough sleep. Avoid driving or operating any tools or machines completely while you are feeling dizzy. Consult your doctor if your dizziness worsens.
