COSCOPIN PLUS NEW ORAL SUSPENSION contains a combination of three medicines, namely noscapine, sodium citrate and ammonium chloride. Noscapine is a non-sedating opioid medicine that suppress cough by blocking the cough centres in the medulla oblongata.
Sodium Citrate and Ammonium chloride are expectorants. They facilitate the expulsion of phlegm (cold/mucus) from the respiratory tract which clears airway congestion. Together they provide relief from repeated, tickling cough associated with mucus.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Take COSCOPIN PLUS NEW ORAL SUSPENSION as advised by your physician. Shake well before use. Measure the required quantity of the medicine in the measuring cup provided with the package and consume it immediately.
