CEFOLAC
200MG TABLET is used in the management of bacterial infections. It is
used for short-term management of bacterial infections of urinary tract,
skin and soft-tissue, ear, bone, blood, abdomen, genital and lungs
(pneumonia). It is also used to reduce the risk of getting infections
after surgery.

It contains a medicine called Cefixime,
which belongs to the group of medicines called Antibiotics. It works by
stopping the growth of bacteria by interfering with the synthesis of
the bacterial cell wall and eventually killing the bacteria.

Take
CEFOLAC 200MG TABLET for the stipulated duration instructed by your
doctor even if you feel better during the midway of the therapy to
achieve better results. Failing to complete the full course of the
therapy or skipping doses in between the therapy may not result in
adequate infection control.

CEFOLAC 200MG TABLET is suitable for
use both in adults and in children aged 10 years or older. However,

  • Take this medicine as advised by your physician. It can be taken with or without food.
  • For Tablets: Swallow the medicine with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine.
  • For Dispersible Tablet:
    Disperse the medicine in the required quantity of water (as mentioned
    in product label) and consume the mixture once the medicine dissolves
    completely
  • Your doctor will decide the correct dose and
    duration of therapy for you depending upon your age, body weight, and
    severity of the infection.
  • Do not stop taking CEFOLAC 200MG TABLET once your symptoms subside.
