Introduction About GERBISA 5MG SUPPOSITORIES

Gerbisa Suppositories is a Laxative used to manage constipation. It is also used to clear the bowel before surgery, X-rays, or other tests. It contains bisacodyl as an active ingredient.

Bisacodyl helps to stimulate the muscles of the bowel (large intestine) and helps to relieve constipation.

Always use Gerbisa Suppositories as advised by your doctor. It is for rectal use only. Lie on one side and pull your knees up towards your chest. Keep one leg raised up higher than the other. Use your index finger or middle finger to gently push the suppository into your rectum until it reaches the bowel wall. Lower your legs to a comfortable position whilst the suppository is retained in place and keep the suppository inside you for at least 30 minutes.

  • Inform your doctor on all the medicines you use, including prescription, over-the-counter medications and herbal supplements
