What HEXIMAR B is used for?
- It
is used as topical management of scalp psoriasis in adults and on the
skin of other body areas to manage mild to moderate plaque psoriasis
(psoriasis vulgaris) in adults
What is HEXIMAR B?
- HEXIMAR B contains betamethasone and calcipotriol
- calcipotriol helps to bring the rate of skin cell growth back to normal and betamethasone acts to reduce inflammation

Talk to your doctor before taking tis medicine, if you:
- are allergic (hypersensitive) to calcipotriol, betamethasone or any of the other ingredients of HEXIMAR B
- have problems with calcium levels in your body
- have certain types of psoriasis such as erythrodermic, exfoliative and pustular
- suffer from any skin infections
- suffer from tuberculosis
- have
skin conditions such as perioral dermatitis, thin skin, easily damaged
veins, stretch marks, ichthyosis (dry skin with fish-like scales), acne
(pimples), rosacea (severe flushing or redness of the skin on the face)
ulcers or broken skin - have diabetes mellitus
Tell your doctor or nurse if you are taking, have recently taken or might take any other topical skin preparations
