INTRODUCTION ABOUT HYDRONOL 12.5 TABLET

HYDRONOL
12.5 TABLET contains Hydrochlorothiazide which belongs to the group of
medicines called Diuretics. It is as an adjuvant therapy in managing
edema (fluid accumulation) that is caused due to heart failure, liver
inflammation (Ex. liver cirrhosis), kidney problems or due to intake of
steroid medications. It can also be used in the management of
hypertension (high blood pressure) either alone or in combination with
other medications.

During management with HYDRONOL 12.5 TABLET
your doctor will constantly monitor your kidney functions, blood
pressure, electrolyte levels and blood sugar levels to avoid the risk of
unwanted side effects.

Before taking HYDRONOL 12.5 TABLET inform
your doctor if you have any liver or kidney problems. You must also
inform your doctor if you have diabetes, asthma, diabetes, low blood
potassium levels, gout or electrolyte imbalance as a precaution.

Consult
your doctor before taking HYDRONOL 12.5 TABLET if you are pregnant or
breastfeeding. The most common side effects of taking HYDRONOL 12.5
TABLET are headache, dizziness, stomach pain, constipation, muscle
spasm, blurred vision and impotence. Contact your doctor if any of these
side effect worsens.

HOW HYDRONOL 12.5 TABLET WORKS

HYDRONOL
12.5 TABLET is a diuretic. It acts by removing excess water from the
body in the form of urine. This reduces swelling of body parts and
manages fluid accumulation. It also reduces the thickness of blood which
reduces the strain on the heart and helps the heart to pump blood more
smoothly with less pressure.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Take
HYDRONOL 12.5 TABLET as directed by your physician. Swallow the
medicine with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine. Try
to take HYDRONOL 12.5 TABLET at the same time each day.

Your
doctor will decide the correct dose and duration of therapy for you
depending upon your age, body weight and health condition. Continue to
take HYDRONOL 12.5 TABLET for the stipulated duration instructed by your
doctor without any interruption to achieve better results.
