METROGYL
 200 TABLET is used in the management of various bacterial and parasitic
 infections such as bacterial vaginosis (vaginal infection),
trichomoniasis (parasitic infection of the genital tract), certain
gastrointestinal infections, blood, brain, lung, bones, pelvic area
infections, gum ulcers and other dental infections, leg ulcers and
pressure sores. It helps to manage an infection after surgery.
You
 can take METROGYL 200 TABLET at any time of the day after food, but it
is important to take it consistently at the same time each day. Continue
 taking the medicine for the duration prescribed by your doctor. Your
symptoms may get better after a short time but do not stop taking it
until you have finished a full course of treatment, even if you feel
well. If you stop taking it early, some bacteria may survive, and the
infection may come back. Avoid consumption of alcohol while
taking METROGYL 200 TABLET and for a few days after stopping it.
