Introduction About NEOMOL I.V INFUSION
NEOMOL
I.V INFUSION contains Paracetamol which belongs to the group of
medicines called Analgesics and Antipyretics. It is used for short-term
management of moderate pain (especially after surgery) and fever when
administered by the intravenous route is clinically justified.
Before
receiving NEOMOL I.V INFUSION, inform your doctor if you have heart,
lung, liver or kidney problems or if you suffer from alcoholism or
alcohol abuse, malnourishment and severely low blood volume due to
dehydration or blood loss.
NEOMOL I.V INFUSION should be used
with caution in pregnant and breastfeeding women only if clearly advised
by the doctor. NEOMOL I.V INFUSION should be used with caution in
children and elderly patients.
The most common side effects of
receiving NEOMOL I.V INFUSION are nausea, vomiting, headache, sleep
problems and itching. Inform your doctor if any of these side effect

How NEOMOL I.V INFUSION Works
NEOMOL
I.V INFUSION relieves pain by increasing the pain threshold by
inhibiting certain enzymes (COX-1 and COX-2) involved in the synthesis
of chemicals responsible for inducing pain (prostaglandins). It reduces
fever by directly acting on heat-regulating centers in the brain,
resulting in vessel relaxation, sweating and loss of body heat.
How to use NEOMOL I.V INFUSION
NEOMOL
I.V INFUSION will be given to you only by a doctor or a nurse into the
vein as an intravenous infusion. Your doctor will decide the correct
dose and duration for you based on your age, body weight and disease
condition.
