Introduction About P 250MG SUSPENSION

P-250 Suspension is a painkiller and anti-pyretic medicine. It is used in children to temporarily relieve mild to moderate pain such as headache, toothache, migraine, nerve pain, sore throat and general aches and helps to reduce fever (high body temperature). Also, it relieves symptoms of cold and flu. It contains paracetamol as an active ingredient that reduces fever and pain.

Paracetamol relieves pain by increasing the pain threshold by inhibiting certain enzymes (COX-1 and COX-2) involved in synthesis of chemicals responsible for inducing pain (prostaglandins). It reduces fever by directly acting on heat-regulating centers in the brain, resulting in vessel relaxation, sweating and loss of body heat.

Always give P-250 Suspension to your child as advised by the child’s physician. Shake well before use. The usual dose of this medicine depends upon child’s age and body weight. It should not be administered for more than 48 hours without doctor’s advice. Use a measuring cup to properly measure the dose. Do not give P-250 Suspension to your child if your child is allergic to any of its components.
