Introduction About PROGESTONE 200 CAPSULE

PROGESTONE 200 CAPSULE is used in the management of female infertility and other progesterone deficiency states such as abnormal uterine bleeding, menopausal disorders and secondary amenorrhea in combination with estrogen therapy. It also supports the early stages of pregnancy and reduces the risk of threatened abortions and pre-term delivery in pregnant women.

It contains a medicine called progesterone which is a steroid hormone that functions similar to the endogenous female sex hormones.

Do not take PROGESTONE 200 CAPSULE if you have or previously had breast cancer, uterine cancer, unexplained vaginal bleeding, or blood clots. During management with PROGESTONE 200 CAPSULE, your doctor will instruct you to have periodic blood tests and regular physical examination (breast and uterine examination) as a precaution.

How PROGESTONE 200 CAPSULE Works

PROGESTONE 200 CAPSULE is a steroid hormone used to manage progesterone deficiency in the body. It supplements your body with sufficient levels of progesterone that is required for a successful implantation of fertilized egg in the uterus and for the maintenance of an early pregnancy.

It sustains pregnancy among infertile women by increasing the thickness of uterine wall. It also regulates hormonal balance in the body and corrects abnormal uterine bleeding and other menstrual problems caused due to incorrect levels of progesterone in the body.

How to use PROGESTONE 200 CAPSULE

  • Always take the medicine as prescribed by your doctor.
  • It can often be taken with or without food, but if you experience nausea, taking it with food may help.
