About Restasis Ophthalmic Emulsion 30×0.4 ml

Restasis
Ophthalmic Emulsion 30×0.4 ml is used in the treatment of severe
keratitis (inflammation of the cornea) in adults. Also, it is used to
treat dry eyes in patients whose condition has not been improved with
artificial tears. A dry eye is a common condition that occurs when tears
are unable to provide sufficient moisture.

Restasis
Ophthalmic Emulsion 30×0.4 ml contains Cyclosporine, which works by
increasing tear production and decreasing inflammation (swelling) in the
eye.

Use Restasis Ophthalmic Emulsion
30×0.4 ml as prescribed by your doctor. Restasis Ophthalmic Emulsion
30×0.4 ml is only for use in eyes. You are advised to use Restasis
Ophthalmic Emulsion 30×0.4 ml for as long as your doctor has prescribed
it for you based on your medical condition. In some cases, you may
experience eye irritation, eye pain, watery eyes, itching in the eye,
redness or swelling of the eyelid, and blurred vision using Restasis
Ophthalmic Emulsion 30×0.4 ml. Most of these side effects do not require
medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side
effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

Treatment of Dry eyes and severe keratitis

Directions for Use

Lie down and tilt your
head backwards. Pull your lower eyelid gently with your index finger to
form a pocket. Instil the number of drops as advised by the doctor into
the pocket of the lower eyelid. Close your eyes for 1-2 minutes. Do not
touch the tip of the container to the eye, eyelids or surrounding areas
as it may contaminate Restasis Ophthalmic Emulsion 30×0.4 ml. Restasis
Ophthalmic Emulsion 30×0.4 ml is for external use only. Do not inject
Restasis Ophthalmic Emulsion 30×0.4 ml.
