Introduction About SCABPER /) CREAM
SCABPER /) CREAM contains Permethrin which belongs to the group of medicines called Anti-parasitic agents. It is indicated for the management of scabies, pediculosis (lice) and crab louse infections.
Scabies is a condition that cause itchy skin caused by a tiny burrowing mite called Sarcoptes scabiei. It can cause intense itching in the area where the mite burrows.
SCABPER /) CREAM is not recommended for use in patients who are allergic to chrysanthemums (a flower). SCABPER /) CREAM should be used with caution in patients having lung diseases and eczema (skin disease).
It is not recommended for use in infants below 2 months of age and should be used with caution in children and adolescents below 18 years of age. Consult your doctor before using this medicine.
SCABPER /) CREAM is not recommended for use in pregnant and breast-feeding women. Consult with your doctor before using.
The most common side effects of using SCABPER /) CREAM are itching, redness of skin, tingling, prickling, skin burning sensation and dry skin. Ask for your doctor’s advice if any of these worsen or persists for a longer duration.
