VOMISHIELD MD 4 TABLET is used to provide relief from sensation of nausea and vomiting. It contains a medicine called which is an anti-emetic medicine. It reduces the nausea and vomiting sensation by blocking the vomiting centres of the brain.
Before taking VOMISHIELD MD 4 TABLET, inform your doctor if you have severe constipation, heart or liver problems, imbalance with the levels of salts in the blood, such as potassium, sodium and magnesium or if you have been scheduled for any surgery.

How VOMISHIELD MD 4 TABLET Works
VOMISHIELD MD 4 TABLET is anti-emetic medicine which works by blocking the action of serotonin, a natural substance in the body that can trigger nausea and vomiting. Specifically, it targets the 5-HT3 receptors in the brain and the gastrointestinal tract. By inhibiting these receptors, ondansetron effectively reduces the signals that lead to nausea and vomiting, providing relief to patients undergoing treatments that can induce these symptoms.
How to use VOMISHIELD MD 4 TABLET
Take VOMISHIELD MD 4 TABLET as advised by your physician. It can be taken with or without food.
For Tablet, Capsule: Swallow VOMISHIELD MD 4 TABLET with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine.
For Dispersible Tablet: Disperse the medicine in the specified quantity of water as mentioned in the label. Consume the medicine immediately after reconstitution.
For Oral Disintegrating strips: Place the medicine directly on your tongue and allow it to dissolve. For fast-dissolving strips, place the strip on your tongue or the inside of your cheek.
Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration of therapy for you depending upon your age, body weight and severity of the infection.
