INTRODUCTION ABOUT ACCUZON PLUS 1.5GM INJECTION

ACCUZON
PLUS 1.5GM INJECTION is a combination of Ceftriaxone and Sulbactam,
which belongs to the group of medicines called Antibiotics. It is used
in the management of infections of the brain (meningitis), lungs, middle
ear, abdomen, and abdominal wall (peritonitis), urinary tract and
kidneys, bones and joints, skin or soft tissues, blood, and heart.

ACCUZON
PLUS 1.5GM INJECTION can also be used to manage specific sexually
transmitted infections (gonorrhoea and syphilis), patients with low
white blood cell counts (neutropenia) who have fever due to bacterial
infection, Lyme disease (caused by tick bites), and infections during
surgery.

ACCUZON PLUS 1.5GM INJECTION is not recommended for use in premature babies and new-born babies having jaundice.
Before receiving ACCUZON PLUS 1.5GM INJECTION, inform your doctor if
you have liver or kidney diseases, colitis, hemolytic anemia, gallstones
or kidney stones, upcoming surgeries, or pancreatitis.

ACCUZON
PLUS 1.5GM INJECTION should be used with caution in pregnancy and breast
feeding. Contact your doctor before receiving. ACCUZON PLUS 1.5GM
INJECTION is not recommended for use in premature babies. Contact your
child’s doctor. ACCUZON PLUS 1.5GM INJECTION should be used with caution
in elderly patients (aged above 65 years or above). Contact your doctor
before receiving.

The most common side effects of receiving
ACCUZON PLUS 1.5GM INJECTION are diarrhea, rash, itching, pain at the
site of injection, and inflammation of a vein caused by blood clots.
Contact your doctor if any of the symptoms worsen.
