AMLOZ AT 50MG TABLET contains two medicines namely amlodipine and atenolol. Atenolol blocks the effects of certain hormones (adrenaline) in the body that naturally increases heart rate. This slows down the heartbeat and makes the heart to pump blood with a lesser force.
Amlodipine is a vasodilator. It relaxes the blood vessels supplying the heart which improves blood flow and oxygen supply to the heart muscles. Collectively, they reduce the strain on the heart and improves heart functions.
