HOW MINTOP FORTE 5% WORKS
It is a potassium channel opener. Its vasodilation action expands the blood vessels. Therefore, when it applied to the scalp, it helps to increase the blood flow. This increased blood flow provides more nutrition and oxygen to the hair follicles which prevent hair cell death and enhances new hair growth.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Always use this medicine exactly doctor has told you. This medicine is use on the scalp only. Do not apply other areas of the body. Make sure that the scalp is clean and dry before applying.

HOW TO MANAGE SIDE EFFECTS
Dizziness:
lying down and closing the eyes. drink plenty of water and keep hydrated. Take plenty of sleep.
Headache:
Apply hot or cold-water bag on your head. Take rest in a quiet and dark room. Drink tea or coffee.
Weight Gain:
Exercise regularly. Take a balanced diet that including whole grains, fresh fruits, vegetables and fat-free products.
Chest pain:
Take aspirin and other anti-platelet medications. Consult your doctor immediately.

BREASTFEEDING
MINTOP FORTE 5% is not recommended for use in breastfeeding women unless necessary. Discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor.
ALCOHOL
Consumption of alcohol is not recommended during management with MINTOP FORTE 5%.
ALLERGY
Do not use MINTOP FORTE 5% if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to Minoxidil or any other ingredients in this medicine.
OTHERS
Tell your doctor if you have or had condition such as,
- high blood pressure
- scalp conditions such as psoriasis
