INTRODUCTION ABOUT ROSCILLIN 500MG CAPSULE

ROSCILLIN 500MG CAPSULE contains Ampicillin which belongs to the group of medicines called Antibiotics. It is used to manage bacterial infections of the ears, nose, throat, respiratory tract (bronchus, lungs), urinary tract, genital tract, stomach, blood, brain or skin and soft tissues.

It can also be used to manage typhoid fever, meningitis (inflammation of the lining of the brain), peritonitis (inflammation of the lining of the stomach) and endocarditis (inflammation of the lining of the heart and its valves).

ROSCILLIN 500MG CAPSULE should be taken on an empty stomach. It is important to take ROSCILLIN 500MG CAPSULE for the stipulated duration instructed by your doctor to achieve better results even if you feel better during the midway of the therapy. Failing to complete the full course of the therapy or skipping doses in between the therapy may not result in adequate infection control.

During therapy with ROSCILLIN 500MG CAPSULE, your doctor will periodically monitor your health condition through several blood tests/urine tests to access the improvement in your condition and to reduce the risk of unwanted side effects. ROSCILLIN 500MG CAPSULE is suitable for use in adults and in children (aged 10 years or older; weighing 20 kg or more).

Before taking ROSCILLIN 500MG CAPSULE inform your doctor if you have diabetes or any kidney problems. You must also inform your doctor if you have blood cancer or any viral infections (such as cytomegalovirus infection) as a precaution.

ROSCILLIN 500MG CAPSULE should be used in pregnant or breastfeeding women only if considered necessary by the physician. The most common side effects of taking ROSCILLIN 500MG CAPSULE are nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. Inform your doctor if they trouble you.
