Introduction About SALYTAR OINTMENT

Salytar Ointment is an antiseptic ointment used to provide relief from skin itchiness, scaling and discomfort associated with skin conditions such as psoriasis, eczema, dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis. It contains Coal tar, Salicylic acid and Sulphur as active ingredients.

Coal tar, salicylic acid and sulfur are keratolytic agents. They remove dry, scaly dead cells from the skin surface, leading to skin peeling followed by the formation of fresh, newer skin cells. Additionally, sulfur can also destroy harmful bacteria, fungi or parasites that causes skin infections.

Use Salytar Ointment as advised by your physician. It is for external use only. Gently apply Salytar Ointment on the affected skin areas. Avoid contact of this ointment with your eyes, ears, nose or mouth. In case of accidental contact, wash it immediately with water.
