INTRODUCTION ABOUT SUDIF CREAM

SUDIF
CREAM contains fusidic acid which belongs to the group of medicines
called Antibiotics. It is used in the management of bacterial skin
infections such as impetigo (crusty patchy skin), infected dermatitis
(inflamed skin with spots), infected cuts, and grazes in affected
individuals.

SUDIF CREAM is not recommended for use in patients allergic to fusidic acid.

SUDIF
CREAM should be used with caution in pregnant and breast-feeding women
which is also used with caution in children and adolescents (aged below
18 years). It is also advised to be used with caution in elderly
patients (aged above 65 years) after consulting the doctor.  

The
most common side effects of applying SUDIF CREAM are feeling pain,
and/or burning sensation at the site of application. Consult your doctor
if the symptoms worsen.

HOW SUDIF CREAM WORKS

SUDIF
CREAM works by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis (essential for
the bacteria to grow) which results in its destruction thus managing its
growth and spread of skin infection in affected individuals.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Always
apply SUDIF CREAM as directed by your physician. It is for external use
only. Wash your hands before applying the medicine. Rub the medicine
gently on the skin. Avoid touching your eyes if the medicine is to be
applied on the face. Wash your hands after use and recap the medicine.
Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration for you depending
upon your age, body weight and disease condition.

COMMON

  • irritation (including pain, burning, stinging sensation) at site of application
