Introduction About PANTAKIND TABLET
PANTAKIND
TABLET is used to manage peptic ulcers, gastroesophageal reflux disease
(GERD) and reflux esophagitis and its associated symptoms such as
acidity, heartburn, acid reflux and pain in swallowing. It contains Pantoprazole
which belongs to the group of medicines called Proton pump inhibitors.
PANTAKIND TABLET can also be used to manage peptic ulcer caused due to
long-term use of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (such as aspirin,
ibuprofen).
Take PANTAKIND TABLET at least 1 hour before meals
to achieve maximum benefits. During management with PANTAKIND TABLET
your doctor will closely monitor kidney functions, liver functions and
blood magnesium levels to avoid the risk of unwanted side effects.
Before taking inform your doctor if you have any liver, kidney or heart
problems. You must also inform your doctor if you have weak bones or any
previous history of bleeding in the gut.
Consult your doctor
before taking PANTAKIND TABLET if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. The
most common side effects are dryness of mouth, constipation and
flatulence. You must also inform your doctor immediately if you
experience severe tiredness with abnormal muscle movements, dizziness,
confusion, disorientation and irregular heartbeat, as it could be a sign
of low magnesium levels in blood.

How PANTAKIND TABLET Works
PANTAKIND
TABLET contains Pantoprazole which helps to reduce gastric acid
secretion by the blocking the actions of a protein membrane called
H+K+Atpase (proton pump) across the stomach lining. As a result, it
manages the worsening of ulcers, heals the existing ulcers and
esophageal lesions and provides relief from the unpleasant symptoms of
GI tract (such as acidity, heartburn and acid reflux).
How to use PANTAKIND TABLET
- Take PANTAKIND TABLET 30 minutes to 1 hour before meals or as advised by your physician
- Swallow the medicine with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine
- Your
doctor will decide the correct dose and duration of therapy for you
depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition - Do not stop taking PANTAKIND TABLET unless your doctor advice you to stop
