INTRODUCTION ABOUT KZ CREAM

KZ CREAM is used to manage fungal skin infections. It can be applied on your hands, feet, genital area, trunk, scalp, face and chest.

It contains an antifungal agent called Ketoconazole which works by stopping the growth of fungi. Use KZ CREAM as advised by your physician. Apply the required amount of the medicine to the affected skin areas.

Before applying KZ CREAM, inform your doctor if you are using a cream, ointment or lotion that contains a steroid.

KZ CREAM can be used if you are pregnant or breast-feeding, however, consult your doctor for advice. KZ CREAM is not recommended for use in children and adolescents (under 18 years of age).

The most common side effects of applying KZ CREAM are burning sensation, skin redness, or itching. If any of the symptoms worsen, contact your doctor.

USES OF KZ CREAM

  • Management of fungal skin infections

HOW KZ CREAM WORKS

KZ CREAM contains Ketoconazole which works by stopping the growth of fungi. It blocks the production of a substance called ergosterol, which is essential for the fungi’s cell membrane. Without ergosterol, the cell membrane becomes weak, causing the fungi to die and the infection to clear up.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Apply KZ CREAM as advised by your physician. It is for external use only. Wash the infected area and dry it well.  Apply it to the affected and immediate surrounding area with clean fingers. Unless the affected skin is on your hands, wash your hands with soap and water after using KZ CREAM in order to stop you from spreading the infection to other parts of your body or to other people.

Keep using KZ CREAM until a few days after all symptoms have completely disappeared. This is to manage your symptoms from recurring.

Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration for you depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition. Usually, you will see improvement after 4 weeks but if you don’t, talk to your doctor.
