Introduction About WALYTE ORS ORANGE FLAVOUR SACHET

Walyte ORS Orange Flavour Sachet belongs to oral rehydration salts (ORS) which is used to replenish the lost fluid and electrolytes because of diarrhea, vomiting, or excessive sweating due to various reasons. It contains electrolytes like sodium chloride, potassium chloride, sodium citrate and dextrose which are essential to maintain normal fluid balance in the body.

It hydrates the body and replenishes the lost electrolytes during conditions which involves excessive fluid loss like loose motions or vomiting. ORS helps manage dehydration and reduces the need for hospitalization.

Dextrose or glucose is the primary ingredient of ORS. It facilitates the absorption of sodium and water in the small intestine. Sodium chloride and potassium chloride are needed as replacement of these essential ions during diarrhoea and vomiting. Sodium citrate corrects the excess acid levels that occurs because of diarrhoea.

Always use Walyte ORS Orange Flavour Sachet as advised by your physician. Use only the recommended dilutions and do not add extra water, as it may interfere with the dilutions. It can be combined with other parenteral fluids if you experience prolonged diarrhoea or other forms of severe fluid loss.
